Staats Takes Oath, Begins Fourth Term in PA House

January 5, 2021

HARRISBURG -- Today, Rep. Craig Staats (R-Bucks) took the oath of office and officially began his fourth term as a member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.

“I am grateful for the support of the citizens of the 145th Legislative District and to have the privilege of serving them for another term,” said Staats. “We are in very challenging times with the pandemic and the disruptions and financial hardships it has caused. I am committed to working with my House colleagues to relieve as much pressure as possible on our residents, the hospitality industry and other businesses, and to begin the onerous task of rebuilding our economy.”

Staats, who will serve as a majority deputy whip this session, is expected to receive his committee assignments for the new term later this week.
