Staats Announces Façade Grant Funding to Support Perkasie Towne Improvement

August 4, 2021

HARRISBURG – The Perkasie Towne Improvement Association has received a $50,000 Keystone Communities Program (KCP) grant to update the front of local business buildings, Rep. Craig Staats (R-Bucks) announced.

“As our town continues to develop, offering a wide variety of small businesses and even some new hometown favorites, we recognize how vital it is to support each of them,” Staats said. “This is why we invest in improvements for our local businesses, such as façade changes; We want them to keep growing and thriving with our community.”

The façade funds granted will be dispersed among local Perkasie businesses to make improvements to the exterior of buildings, updating and reconstructing outdoor aspects which face the street.

“With Perkasie in the midst of an economic renaissance, these façade grants will go a long way in helping our entrepreneurs improve their businesses to provide customers with an even better experience. We are grateful for the state’s support and look forward to all the creative ways the grants will be used,” said Joe Ferry, Perkasie Towne Improvement Association director of development.

The KCP aims to forge relationships between public and private sectors who actively support the growth and stabilization of Pennsylvania communities through social and economic means. Funds granted through the program may be used for planning activities, façade grant programs, accessible housing programs and development grants.
